Pizza Spaghetti Casserole

  • 6 ounces uncooked dried spaghetti
  • 3/4 pound lean ground beef, pork or turkey
  • 1 medium green pepper, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2-1/2 cups garden style spaghetti sauce
  • 2 ounces pepperoni
  • 6 ounces (1-1/2 cups) Mozzarella cheese, shredded
1. Cook spaghetti according to package direction. Drain.

2. Meanwhile, cook ground beef in 10-inch skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until browned. Add green pepper and onion. Continue cooking until vegetables are crisp-tender. Stir in cooked spaghetti and spaghetti sauce; mix well.

3. Heat oven to 350. Spoon half of spaghetti mixture into greased 11x7-inch baking dish; top with 1 ounce pepperoni. Cover with 3/4 cup cheese. Repeat layering one time.

4. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until mixture is heated through.
