Sausage & Pasta Vegetable Soup
  • 3 cups purchased coleslaw blend (from 16-oz. pkg.)
  • 2 (14-1/2 oz.) cans ready-to-serve fat-free, low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 (1 lb.) pkg. Green Giant Pasta Accents Garden Herb Seasoning Frozen Vegetables with Pasta 1
  • 8 oz. reduced-fat smoked turkey sausage, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seed
1. In large saucepan, combine coleslaw blend and chicken broth. Bring to a boil.

2. Add all remaining ingredients. Reduce heat to medium; cover and simmer 4-6 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender, stirring occasionally.


Note:

1 We have never found this type of frozen vegetables with pasta. We use one with garlic sauce (same brand).
