Basic Soup Broth

This is a basic broth to make a quick, easy soup.
  • 2 (14 oz) cans ready-to-serve chicken broth
  • 1 (14-1/2 oz) can stewed tomatoes with Italian seasonings, undrained, cut up
Combine all three and heat.

To make a basic vegetable soup add frozen mixed vegetables or possibly some chopped onions, sliced carrots and sliced celery.

Or to that same soup, you could also add a cup of two of cooked diced chicken, cooked ground beef, or sliced cooked sausage.
